The brief

A loft kitchen built to be lived in, not looked at. A long island to gather around, warm wood throughout, and a wall of green glazed tile that changes with the light.

Warm wood cabinetry, run floor to ceiling on the working wall and wrapped around a long central island with seating for the room. A professional range sits under a custom hood. Open shelves carry the everyday things. The green glazed tile was the client’s, and we built the wood to live next to it.
